Louise Sarah Mihalek was born on June 2, 1931 in Medford, MA to Orlando and Genevieve (nee Pastori) Finelli. She died Sunday, July 14, 2013 in Arlington Heights.

Mrs. Mihalek was a beloved housewife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.

Louise is survived by her spouse of 64 years, John A. Mihalek; her children, Daniel John Mihalek, Joan Ann Mihalek, Jane Marie DeLange, Lois Jean (Marvin) Hurley, and John A. (Aida) Mihalek, Jr.; her grandchildren, James Lux, Anna Louise Burn, and Angelia Mihalek; her great-granddaughter, Ember Lux; and her siblings, John (Ellie) Finelli, Genevieve (the late Vic) Bartoletta, and Marguerite Sollberger.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Visitation from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm, Thursday, July 18, 2013 at Glueckert Funeral Home Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Hts. Rd., Arlington Heights. Prayers will be said at 10:15 am Friday, July 19, 2013 at the funeral home proceeding to St. Edna Catholic Church, 2525 N. Arlington Hts. Rd., Arlington Heights for Mass at 11:00 am. Burial at St. Michael the Archangel Cemetery in Palatine.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to Rainbow Hospice 1550 Bishop Court, Mount Prospect IL 60056.
