Margaret A. “Peggy” Johnson
of Rolling Meadows formerly of Lake Forest

Margaret A. “Peggy” Johnson was born on October 20, 1926 in Cairo, IL to Frederick and Lena (nee Snyder) Brinkmeyer. She passed away on Friday, June 28, 2013 in Rolling Meadows.

Margaret was president of the Illinois Children’s Home and Aid Society. She was also a member of the Lake Forest Women's Club and Garden Club.

Margaret is survived by her daughter, Amy (Mark) Belmonte; her grandchildren, Kate and Joey Belmonte; and her cousin, Jeanie Ashley.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Julian Johnson; and her aunt and uncle, Helen and Dr. Morris Goldstein.

Visitation from 11:00 am until the time of funeral service at 1:00 pm Wednesday, July 3, 2013 at Glueckert Funeral Home Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Road, Arlington Heights. Interment private.
