Rick Miller
Of Arlington Heights

Rick Miller was born August 12, 1943 in Chicago to Peter and Catherine (nee Zonsius) Miller. He died July 14, 2012 at Lutheran General Hospital in Park Ridge.

He was a die hard Cubs and Bears fan. His motto in life was, “keep on keepin’ on”, he passed that spirit and legacy on to his children, grandchildren and those that came in contact with him.

Rick is survived by his wife Julie (nee Herrold) Miller; his children Tom (Heather) Miller, Bob (Stacey) Miller, Katie (Dan) Grayson, Melissa (Jim) Halas and Meg Miller; his grandchildren Emily, Julia, Shane, Jacob, Caleigh, Nicholas, Kyle, Alisha, Ryan, Trey, Brooke and Braden.

Rick is preceded in death by his brother Jerry (Pam) Miller and by his parents.

Visitation Wednesday, July 18, 2012 from 4 until 9 PM at the Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Rd., (4 blocks south of Palatine Rd.) Arlington Heights and Thursday, July 19, 2012 at St. Edna Catholic Church 2525 N. Arlington Heights Road, Arlington Heights from 9 AM until 9:45 AM. Funeral Mass at 10 AM, at St. Edna Church. Interment will be at All Saints Cemetery.
