Dennis Gunnar Anderson

Dennis Gunnar Anderson was born March 9, 1942 in Chicago to Gunnar and Gladys (nee Anderson) Anderson. He passed away July 14, 2012 at St. Matthew Center for Health in Park Ridge.

Dennis was a former Red Cross volunteer and worked for Desoto Inc. for 24 years. He recently taught chemistry at Triton College. He was a member of the Greater Chicago Classic Chevy Club.

Dennis is survived by his loving wife Linda (nee Olson) Anderson; his son Robert (Sharon) Anderson; his grandson Erik Anderson.

Dennis is preceded in death by his brother Carl Anderson and by his parents.

Visitation Monday, July 16, 2012 from 3 PM until 9 PM at the Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Road, (4 blocks south of Palatine Road) Arlington Heights and Tuesday from 9 AM until the time of Funeral service at 10 AM, at Our Saviour’s Lutheran Church, 1234 N. Arlington Heights Rd. Burial will be at Memory Gardens Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to St. Matthew Center for Health, 1601 N. Western Ave., Park Ridge, IL.
