Dorothy L. Brelie was born on July 22, 1930 to Lewis and Juliana (nee Gudzik) Somor in Chicago. She passed away on July 24, 2011 in Arlington Heights.

She is survived by her husband, Earl; her children, Scott (Ellen) Brelie of Chicago, Lynn (David) Garel of Riverside, CA and Paul (Linda) Brelie of Carpenterville; her grandchildren, Kurt (Melissa), Alison, Teri and Marc and her great grandchildren, Elijah and Chase.

Visitation Friday, July 29, 2011 from 3:00 until 9:00 PM at the Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Road, (4 blocks south of Palatine Road) Arlington Heights where funeral services will be held on Saturday, July 30, 2011 at 11:00 AM. Interment Private.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to American Diabetes Association, 30 North Michigan Avenue, Suite 2015, Chicago, IL 60602.
