Marilyn W. Snyder was born February 2, 1923 in Lafayette, Indiana to Floyd and Catherine (nee Allen) Wrightsman. She passed away on Tuesday, July 20, 2010 at Lexington of Streamwood.
Mrs. Snyder was a member of the P.E.O. and President of Chapter FW, a member of the Alpha Chi Omega Alumni Association, and a member of the Northwest Community Hospital Auxiliary.
She is survived by her children, Marilee Ann (John) Snyder-Nieciak of Michigan City, Indiana, Ernest Floyd (Tamara) Snyder of Charlotte, North Carolina, and Catherine Snyder of Elgin; her nine grandchildren; and her three great-grandchildren.
Marilyn is preceded in death by her husband, E. Max Snyder; her daughter, Constance S. Ernst; and her parents.
Memorial visitation is from 1:00PM until time of Memorial Service 5:00 PM, Saturday, July 24, 2010 at the Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Road, (4 blocks south of Palatine Road) Arlington Heights. Interment is private.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to the Lexington Health Care Memoirs/Activity Unit, 815 Irving Park Rd., Streamwood, IL 60107.
