William Luettschwager
Of Arlington Heights

William Luettschwager was born on August 1, 1922 in Arlington Heights to William and Emma (nee Heide) Luettschwager. He died Monday, July 5, 2010 at Northwest Community Hospital in Arlington Heights.

Mr. Luettschwager was an assembler for Scribe International before retiring. He served with the United States during WWII and was a Past Commander of Arlington Heights VFW Post 981.

William is survived by his wife, Betty (nee Gruber) Luettschwager, whom he married on September 8, 1973; his siblings, Wallace Luettschwager and Lorraine Japp; his many nieces, nephews and cousins; and his great niece Kayln and his great nephew Wyatt.

He is preceded in death by his parents.

Visitation from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM, Friday, July 9, 2010 at the Glueckert Funeral Home, 1520 N. Arlington Heights Rd.,(four blocks south of Palatine Rd.) Arlington Heights and from 10:00 AM until the time of Funeral Service at 11:00 AM, Saturday, July 10, 2010 at St. Peter Lutheran Church, 111 W. Olive St., Arlington Heights, IL 60004. Interment Memory Gardens Cemetery.

Memorials may be given to St. Peter Lutheran Church.
