John R. “Jack” Lauderback
Of Arlington Heights
Jack R. Lauderback was born October 6, 1935 in Oconomowoc, Wisconsin to
William and Mildred (nee Pomeroy) Lauderback. He passed away Friday,
July 2, 2010 at Northwest Community Hospital in Arlington Heights.
Mr. Lauderback graduated from Oconomowoc High School, and was a member
of Beta Pi Epsilon at Carroll University in Waukesha, Wisconsin. He
worked for the State of Illinois, Manor Care, Brunswick, Vital Link, and
Kimberly Clark. He was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of
Arlington Heights, a huge sports fan, especially devoted to the Green
Bay Packers, an avid gardener, and a Clearbrook Center volunteer.
His survivors include his wife, Angela (nee Russo) Lauderback; children,
Ann Zyer, Karen (Charles B.) Kohler, and Susan (John R.) Carter; his
grandchildren, Sean Zyer, Thomas and Daniel Kohler, Adam, Andrew, and
Grace Carter, and Skylar Pecirno; his siblings, Robert (Shirley)
Lauderback and David (Yuki) Lauderbach; and his many nieces and nephews.
John is preceded in death by his parents.
Visitation from 3:00 PM until 9:00 PM, Monday, July 5, 2010 at the
Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Road, (4 blocks
south of Palatine Road) Arlington Heights, and Tuesday, July 6, 2010
from 9:00 AM until time of Funeral Service at 10:00 AM at the First
Presbyterian Church of Arlington Heights, 302 N. Dunton Ave., Arlington
Heights. Burial is at Memory Gardens Cemetery in Arlington Heights.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be given to the American
Diabetes Assn., 30 N. Michigan Ave., Suite #2015, Chicago, IL 60602
