Carl “Mumbles” Jenkins
Of Arlington Heights

Carl “Mumbles” Jenkins was born August 2, 1933 in Lexington, KY to Morrison and Elizabeth (nee Kelly) Jenkins. He died July 13, 2009 in Arlington Heights.

Carl was an employee for Mickie Goldfine and the Goldfine family stables for over 50 years. He will truly be missed by his extended family, friends and the children of Arlington Park.

Carl is survived by his siblings Honeywood Garth, Elizabeth (late David) Quick and Don (Virginia) Jenkins; his many nieces and nephew and by his dear friends Cheryl (Hector) Magna and family and the Goldfine family.

Carl is preceded in death by his siblings Iona (Ernest) Turner, John Polk Jenkins, Alvin Jenkins and Morrison Jr. (late Minnie) Jenkins.

Visitation and funeral services will be held on Tuesday, July 21 at the Smith and Smith Funeral Home in Lexington, Kentucky. Interment at Evergreen Memory Gardens Cemetery in Lexington, KY.
