Frank Belmonte
Of Arlington Heights

Frank Belmonte was born August 15, 1927 in Cosenza, Italy to Alberto and Adelina (nee Giardinelli) Belmonte . He passed away on July 10, 2009 at his home in Arlington Heights.

Mr. Belmonte was employed as a Tailor at Celand and Son’s from the late 1950’s through 1969. He then went to work for the Hartmarx Corporation as a Designer/Manager in their Custom Shop of Men’s Fashion from 1969 until his retirement in 1992.

Frank is survived by his wife of 51 years, Carmela Pellegrini Belmonte; his devoted children, Albert (Martha) Belmonte of Evanston, Frank (Diane) Belmonte of Lincolnshire, Joseph Belmonte of New York, NY and Carol Belmonte of Hoffman Estates; his grandchildren, Adam, Ana, Thomas, Dominic, Amelia, Jenna and Mark; and his sister Emma Perri.

He is preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Ernesta Pupo.

Visitation from 3:00 until 9:00 PM, Monday, July 13, 2009, at the Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Rd., (4 blocks south of Palatine Rd.) Arlington Heights and Tuesday, July 14, 2009 from 9:00 AM until the time of Mass at 10:00 AM at St. Edna Catholic Church 2525 N. Arlington Heights Road, Arlington Heights. Entombment Queen of Heaven Cemetery, Hillside, Illinois.
