Alvin Clark Sutherland

Alvin Clark Sutherland, recently of Lakemoor, was born June 27, 1928 in Chicago to Clark and Catherine (nee Felke) Sutherland. He died Friday, July 3, 2009 at Good Shepherd Hospital in Barrington.

Before retiring Mr. Sutherland worked as a computer troubleshooter for United Airlines for 35 years.

His survivors include his children Timothy Sutherland, Cathy (Tom) Lakowske; Donald (Christine) Sutherland, Gerald (Shelley) Sutherland and Ann (Giancarlo) Natalino; his grandchildren Nicholas (Jamie), Ryan, Jessica, Darren and Danielle Sutherland, Mario and Luigi Natalino; and his great granddaughter Kya Lorraine Kirksy.

Alvin is preceded in death by his wife Lorraine M.; and his parents.

Visitation from3:00 until 9:00 PM, Tuesday, July 7, 2009 at the Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Rd., (4 blocks south of Palatine Rd.) Arlington Heights. Prayers 9:15 AM, Wednesday, July 8, 2009 at the Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd., to St. Thomas of Villanova Catholic Church, 1201 Anderson (Anderson & Williams), Palatine for Mass at 10:00 AM. Burial at St. Michael the Archangel Cemetery, Palatine.
