Mary Louise “Louie” Parker
Of Arlington Heights

Mary Louise “Louie” (nee Parrott) Parker was born December 2, 1947 in Campbellsville, Kentucky to Joseph Durret and Mary Jane (nee Lyle) Parrott. She went to be with the Lord Jesus Christ July 30, 2008 at her home, after a long and courageous battle with inflammatory breast cancer.

Mrs. Parker was a DJ and production director for WYEN radio in Des Plaines, IL. She was a publicity manager and Chicago TV host for the March of Dimes. She also served as director of marketing for Christianity Today International, in Carol Stream, IL.

Mary Louise is survived by her beloved husband Ernest Malcolm Parker, whom she married October 6, 1984 in Des Plaines; her children John Malcolm (Micah) Parker of Columbia, MO, Robert Leonard Watson II of Palatine, Kathy Ann (Todd) Bruce of Wayzata, MN and John Durrett Watson of Palatine,IL; her grandchildren Kyla, Evan, Ruby, Hazel and McKenna; her siblings Joyce Dougherty, Alan Parrott, Joseph Parrott, Elizabeth Singleton and Thomas Parrott.

She is preceded in death by her parents.

Visitation Friday August 1, 2008, from 3 PM until 9 PM, at the Glueckert Funeral Home, 1520 N. Arlington Heights Rd.,(four blocks south of Palatine Rd.) Arlington Heights and Saturday at Golf Road Baptist Church, 501 W. Golf Road, Des Plaines, IL, from 9:30 AM until the time of service at 10 AM.
