Shane David Austin

Shane David Austin was
born October 18, 1977 in
Skokie. He died
Thursday, July 24, 2008
at Hospice of the Valley
in Surprise, Arizona
after a courageous
battle against brain
tumors. Shane worked in
retail sales and design
for Plunkett's
Furniture, Montgomery
Ward, Radio Shack and
Blockbuster.
Shane, a beloved son,
brother and nephew, is
survived by his mother
and stepfather, Teena
and Robert Purdiman of
El Mirage, Arizona and
father and stepmother,
David W. and Patricia
Austin of Barrie,
Ontario, Canada; his
siblings Zackary Wypych
and Bethany Austin,
step-siblings Jennifer
and Alexis Austin, and
Robert (Megan) and
Jessee Cordell; his
uncle and aunt Robert
and Ellen Swirsky, and
cousins Derek and Rachel
Swirsky.
Visitation from Noon
until 2:00 PM, Monday,
July 28, 2008 at the
Glueckert Funeral Home,
Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington
Heights Road, (4 blocks
south of Palatine Road)

proceeding to Randhill
Park Cemetery for 2:15
