Mildred L. Piepenbrink was born September 23, 1922 in Evanston, Ill. to William and Christina (nee Bohnhurst) Lutz. She died Wednesday, July 16, 2008 at Northwest Community Healthcare Center in Arlington Heights.

Mrs. Piepenbrink was a homemaker and had been employed in food service at the Lutheran Home and Services. She was a long time member of St. Peter Lutheran Church and participated in the Altar Guild. Mildred was a Girl Scout and Boy Scout Leader.

Her survivors include her children Linda L. (Skip) Scheurman of Schaumburg, Allan (Shirley) Piepenbrink of Menomonee Falls, Wisc., Mark (Donna) Piepenbrink of Mundelein and Bruce (Tina) Piepenbrink of Buffalo Grove; her seven grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

Visitation from 6:00 until 9:00 PM, Monday, July 21, 2008 at the Glueckert Funeral Home Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Rd., Arlington Heights, and from 9:00 AM until time of Funeral Service, at 10:00 AM, Tuesday, July 22, 2008 at the Lutheran Home & Services, 800 W. Oakton, Arlington Heights. Interment Memory Gardens Cemetery, Arlington Heights

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to Lutheran Home and Services or St. Peter Lutheran Church, 111 W. Olive St., Arlington Hts. IL 60004.
