Manus R. Gallagher was

to William and Alice
(nee Kuhler) Gallagher.
He died July 15, 2008 in
Rolling Meadows.
Mr. Gallagher served
with the United States
Army during the Korean
War. He was a 1960
graduate of Duquesne
University in
Pittsburgh, PA. Also,
Manus was a member of
the Knights of Columbus,
4th Degree, council #
6481and a member of the
Ancient Order of
Hiberians, Division 15,
in Pittsburgh.
Manus is survived by his
wife, Teresa (nee
Kiefer) Gallagher, whom
he married on November
7, 1953 in Pittsburgh;
his children, Timothy
(Peg) Gallagher of
Schaumburg, Terence
(Lynn) Gallagher of
Scotch Plains, NJ, Mark
(Karen) Gallagher of
Palatine and Michael
(Christine) Gallagher of
Bartlett; his
grandchildren, Megan,
Brian, Shannon, Erin, Kaitlyn, Ryan, Morgan,
Brendan, Cody, Owen and
Emma; and his brothers,
William, Robert, James
and Roger Gallagher.
He is preceded in death
by his parents.
Visitation from 3:00
PM until 9:00 PM Friday,
July 18, 2008 at the
Glueckert Funeral Home,
Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington
Heights Rd., (four
blocks south of Palatine
Rd.) Arlington Heights
and from 9:00 AM until
the time of Mass at
10:00 AM on Saturday,
July 19, 2008 at St.
Alphonsus Church, 411 N.
Wheeling Road, Prospect
Heights. Entombment All
Saints Mausoleum, Des
Plaines.
