Catherine “Kay” Passentino, 86, of Arlington Heights, Illinois, died July 21, 2007, at Northwest Community Hospital in Arlington Heights, Illinois.

Kay was born June 25, 1921 in Los Angeles, California. She married Phillip John Passentino April 26, 1947. She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother who truly cared for the ones she loved especially by showing her love through food.

She is survived by a daughter, Lee (Robert) Joseph; a son, Phillip (Donna) Passentino; two sisters, Fran Wolfe and Rose Willard; and a brother, Frank Maiale. She is survived by four grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; and her husband, Phillip.

Visitation will be Tuesday, July 24, 2007, at Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Rd., (4 blocks South of Palatine Rd.) Arlington Heights. from 4-9 pm. Funeral services will be 1 PM, Wednesday, July 25, 2007 at the funeral home. Interment All Saints Cemetery.
