Ardath L. Willett was born April 29, 1919, in Ringsted, Iowa to Harold and Elizabeth (nee Kellin) Christensen. She died Wednesday, July 18, 2007 at the Lutheran Home and Services.

Mrs. Willett was a keypunch operator for Illinois Central Railroad before retiring. She has been a member of St. Peter Lutheran Church.

Her survivors include siblings Arleen Fehl, Fay (Harry) Fehsenfeld, Alfred (partner Ray Davenport) Christensen; her sister-in-law Christa Christensen; and many nieces and nephews.

Ardath is preceded in death by her husband David; her parents; her brothers Melville (Ina) Christensen, Freeman (Agnes) Christensen and Kenneth Christensen; and her brother-in-law Howard Fehl.

Visitation from 1:00 PM until the time of the Funeral Service at 4:00 PM, Friday, July 20, 2007 at the Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Road, (4 blocks south of Palatine Road) Arlington Heights. Visitation from 5:00 until 8:00 PM Sunday, July, 22, 2007 at Lindsey Funeral Home, 226 N. Forth St., Paducah, Kentycky, where Funeral Service will be held 11:00 AM, Monday, July 23, 2007. Interment at St. Jerome Cemetery, Fancy Farm, KY.
