Richard M. Marston, of Kankakee, was born August 25, 1943 in LaGrange, Illinois to Timothy and Anne (nee Hyland) Marston. He died Sunday, July 15, 2007 at Provena St. Mary’s Hospital in Kankakee.

Before retiring Mr. Marston was an attorney. He graduated from Fenwick High School, Regis University and Loyola Law School. Richard was a dog lover and enjoyed golf and fishing.

His survivors include his children Emily of Arlington Heights, Bernard (Shelly) of Chicago, Thomas of Arlington Heights, Peggy (Sean) Hayes of Arlington Heights, Michael of Arlington Heights and Ryan Burke; his grandchildren Kate, Meghan, Connor and Mary; his sisters Joyce Close and Jean Rosemeyer, brothers James (Betty) and Thomas (Mary Lou); his cousin Thomas Hyland; and his former wife Nancy.

Richard is preceded in death by his parents, and his brothers-in-law Austin Close, William Rosemeyer and Jack Bogan.

Visitation from 3:00 until 9:00 PM, Wednesday, July 18, 2007 at the Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Rd., (4 blocks south of Palatine Rd.) Arlington Heights. Prayers 9:15 AM, Thursday, July 17, 2007 at the Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd., to St. James Church, 831 N. Arlington Heights Rd., Arlington Heights for Mass at AM. Burial at All Saints Cemetery.
