Adeline Cecilia “Dee” Lindskoog
Of Northbrook

Adeline Cecilia “Dee” Lindskoog, former long-time resident of Mt. Prospect, was born November 2, 1911 in Chicago to Axel Johann and Anna (nee Birath) Holmberg. She died Wednesday, July 4, 2007 at Brandel Care Center in Northbrook.

Mrs. Lindskoog was a homemaker and she worked in retail sales. She is a former owner of Colonial Cleaners in Barrington. Adeline was a very active member of the Mt. Prospect Senior Center and received a Mt. Prospect Elder Honor. She volunteered at St. Mark Lutheran Church, Northwest Community Healthcare Center, the Girl Scouts and Boy Scouts and the Apollo Chorus. Adeline enjoyed sewing, needlework, crafts and singing.

She is survived by her children, Roger (Patricia) Lindskoog of Arlington Heights, Janice (Edward) Biegert of Arlington Heights and Diane (Donald) Stefanik of Eden, Utah; her grandchildren Matthew (Heather Redmond) Biegert, Gregg (Georgina) Lindskoog, Lauren Biegert, Jeffrey (Carol) Lindskoog, Michael (Cynthia) Gehl, Karalee (Thomas) Gendreau and Sharon Lindskoog; great-grandchildren, Kiersten, Ian and Tyler Lindskoog, Annika and Karena Gehl and Ava Biegert; her brother Dr. Harry Holmberg; and her nieces Shirley (Donald) Diersen and Marilyn Holmberg.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Nils Roy Lindskoog; her parents; and her brothers Arthur and Alfred Holmberg.

Funeral service and interment private.
