Phillip T. Novak, age 88 was born May 21, 1918 in Chicago to John and Rose (nee Murowski) Novak. He died Tuesday July 18th at Northwest Community Healthcare Center.

Phillip was a veteran of WWII US Army and a member of the American Legion Merle Guild Post #208.

Survivors include his sons: William Novak of Scottsdale, AZ and Ralph (Janice) Novak of Orlando, FL. Grandchildren: Brian (Amy) Novak, Victoria (Aaron) Veckey, Jennifer Novak and Steven Novak. Great Grandfather of 6.

Phillip was preceded in death by his wife Lorraine (nee Marach), his brothers Robert and John Novak and his parents.

Visitation from 3 PM until 9 PM, Friday, July 21, 2006 at the Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Rd., (4 blocks south of Palatine Rd.) Arlington Heights. Prayers 8:45 AM, Saturday, July 22, 2006 at the Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd., to Our Lady of the Wayside Church, 440 S. Mitchell, Arlington Heights for Mass at 9:30 AM. Burial at All Saints Cemetery.
