Edward J. Calvert

Edward J. Calvert was born August 3, 1965, in Chicago. He died July 12, 2006, in Arlington Heights.

Mr. Calvert was Chief Engineer for the Chicago Public Schools. He was a member of St. Edna’s Catholic Church for 15 years, where he was involved in CRHP, taught religious education, and volunteered in adult confirmation. Edward loved pro wrestling, NASCAR and hockey, and he enjoyed golfing.

Edward is survived by his wife Dolores (nee Salvador); his daughter, Michelle; his parents, John and Mary Ann Gibson; his uncles, John (Hope) McFadden, Edward J. McFadden, Richard (Linda) McFadden; his aunts, Patricia McFadden, Dina (William) Schnurstein and Lori Simmons; and his sister-in-law, Estrella Hirsch.

Visitation from 3:00 PM until 8:00 PM, Sunday, July 16, 2006, at the Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Rd., (four blocks south of Palatine Rd.) Arlington Heights and Monday, July 17, 2006 at St. Edna Catholic Church 2525 N. Arlington Heights Road, Arlington Heights from 9:00 AM until 10:00 AM. Funeral Mass at 10:00 AM, Monday, July 17, 2006 at the church. Interment will be at All Saints Cemetery.
