Constance C. Sturgis

Constance C. Sturgis, formerly of Glenview and Winnetka, was born May 14, 1923, in Glencoe to George Stanton and Laura (nee Parsons) Channer. She died July 9, 2006, at Sunrise Assisted Living Center of Buffalo Grove, formerly of Glenview and Winnetka.
Mrs. Sturgis, a homemaker, was a member of the Northwestern Settlement and a long time member of the First Presbyterian Church of Deerfield. She particularly enjoyed her volunteer service at the Glenkirk School in Glenview for children with developmental disabilities.
Constance is survived by her children Robert (Diana) Sturgis of North Barrington and Pamela Sturgis of Concord Mass.; her grandson Robert (Debra) Sturgis of Barrington Hills; and her great-granddaughters Nicole and Jessica.
Service and interment are private.
