Mrs. Franks retired from the floral department at Dominick’s Northbrook Store in 2002.
Rita is survived by her daughters Lauri (Roger) Kroes of Lake Zurich and Kathy Franks of Lake Zurich; her grandchildren, Kevin, Kimberly, Brian, and Kathleen, and her brother, Wayne (Linda) Carmignani.
She is preceded in death by her son Gregory Franks.
Visitation from 3:00 PM until 9:00 PM, Thursday, July 13, 2006, with a funeral service held at 7:00 PM, at the Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Road, (four blocks south of Palatine Road) Arlington Heights. Interment private.
