Raymond Earl Schweda Toepke

Raymond Earl Schweda Toepke was born August 15, 1925, in Elmwood Park to Leo and Edith (nee Kinney) Schweda. He died July 2, 2006, at ManorCare of Arlington Heights.
Mr. Toepke worked as a sales manager at General Foods, Krause Milling Co., Lincoln Grain Co, and ConAgra. He was a member of the American Foundryman's Society (AFS), the Cope & Drag Club, the American Legion, the V.F.W., and the N.R.A..
Raymond is survived by his wife, Marianne G. (nee Olson), whom he married on September 21, 1946 in Evanston; his children, Timothy (Pamela) Toepke of New Lenox, Ronald Toepke of Tucson, AZ, and Karen (Scott) Hancock of Morton; his grandchildren, Gavin Toepke of Chicago, Carly Toepke of New Lenox, Michael Toepke of New Lenox, Micah Hancock of Morton, Derek Hancock of Morton, and Charlotte Toepke of Tucson, AZ; and his siblings, Linda Hudlow of Conway, AK, Rudy Toepke of Conway, AK, Mary Francis Rhine of FL, and Charles Schweda of AZ.
He is preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Edith Troyke.
Visitation 9:30 AM, Wednesday, at the Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Rd., (four blocks south of Palatine Rd.) Arlington Heights until time of funeral service at 10:30 AM. Interment will be at Acacia Park Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to the American Cancer Society, 225 N. Michigan Ave., Ste 1200, Chicago, IL 60601 or to the Salvation Army, 5040 N. Pulaski Rd., Chicago, IL 60630-2788.
