Joseph Russo
Of Buffalo Grove, formerly of Niles

Joseph Russo was born April 27, 1922 in Chicago to Peter and Clementina Russo. He passed away Saturday, July 30, 2005 at Alexian Brothers Medical Center in Elk Grove, Illinois.

Mr. Russo was an Army veteran of World War II, and a member of the 101st Airborne Association. He worked as a photo engraver for the publishing industry.

Joseph is survived by his wife, Marion (nee Volpe), whom he married May 3, 1947 in Chicago; his daughter Kathleen Russo and Darlene Russo, both of Buffalo Grove; his son Tim (Anne Marie) Russo of Schaumburg; brother Angelo (Sally) Russo and sister Marie Gifford.

He was preceded in death by his brothers Michael and Peter Russo and sister Frances Moore.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, 11:00 AM at Church of the Full Gospel, 6120 N. Harlem, Chicago, 60631. Joseph will lie in state at church from 10:00 AM until time of service at 11:00 AM. Visitation will be Tuesday from 3:00 PM until 9:00 PM at Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Road, (4 blocks south of Palatine Road) Arlington Heights. Entombment will be in Mount Olive Mausoleum, Chicago.
