Bruce N. Doris
Of Arlington Heights

Bruce N. Doris was born August 6, 1949 in Kankakee to Ernest and Darlene (nee Ponton) Doris. He died Tuesday, July 26, 2005 at Northwest Community Healthcare Center in Arlington Heights.

Mr. Doris was the service director at Kia of Waukegan for the Bob Rohrman Group. Bruce served in the Navy during the Vietnam War. He was a member of the Arlington Heights American Legion Merle Guild Post #208, a member of the Chicagoland Mopar Connection, and also a former drag racer.

Bruce is survived by his wife, Cindy (nee Arseneau), whom he married July 26, 1974 in Kankakee; his children Rachel (Rich) Stewert of Clifton, Mike (Denise) Doris of Huntley, and Matt Doris of Arlington Heights; his granddaughter, Jessica Stewert; and his siblings Scott (Laurie) Doris of Manteno and Marcia (Dave) Stromme.

He is preceded by his parents; and his brothers Alan and Mark Doris.

Visitation Friday, July 29, 2005 from 3:00 PM until 9:00 PM at the Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Rd., (4 blocks south of Palatine Rd.) Arlington Heights and Saturday at St. Edna Catholic Church 2525 N. Arlington Heights Road, Arlington Heights from 9:00 AM until time of Mass at 10:00 AM. Entombment will be at Memory Gardens Cemetery, Arlington Heights, Illinois.
