Arthur Busby, Sr.
Of Arlington Heights

Arthur Busby, Sr. was born April 22, 1927 to William and Alice (nee Hunter) Busby in Chicago. He passed away Wednesday, July 13, 2005 at Northwest Community Healthcare Center in Arlington Heights.

Mr. Busby retired from Saxon Paint & Wallpaper in 1992, following 25 years of employment. He was a member of the VFW # 981 in Arlington Heights and he was a coach for over 20 years with the Arlington Heights Youth Baseball Association.

Arthur's survivors include his wife, Virginia "Ginny" (nee Pasternak) to
whom he was married for 50 years; children Art Jr. (Judy) of Arlington Heights, Jim (Kari) of Arlington Heights, Tom (Stephanie) of Arlington Heights, and John "Jack" (Christine) of Arlington Heights; and 11 grandchildren.

Arthur was preceded in death by his parents; his siblings, William Busby, Robert Busby, Ellen Brushaber, and Edward Busby.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, July 16, 2005 at 10 AM at the Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Road, (4 blocks south of Palatine Road) Arlington Heights. Visitation will be Friday from 4:00 PM until 9:00 PM at the Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd. Interment will be at Memory Gardens Cemetery.
