Lois M. Kucera
Of Palatine, formerly Rolling Meadows

Lois M. Kucera was born May 5, 1941 in Chicago to Leo and Margaret (nee Bartley) Walczak. She passed away Tuesday, July 5, 2005 at her home.

Lois was employed for the past 10 years by Nordstrom's, in the fine jewelry department. She was a member of the American Legion Ladies Auxiliary # 208 in Arlington Heights. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, especially the group at Eddies.

Lois is survived by her life partner, Philip Mitchell; her children, Sharon (Walter, Jr.) Waltz of Hoffman Estates, Margie Bauer of Fond du Lac, WI, and Kenneth (Linda) Bauer of Carpentersville; her grandchildren, Walter Waltz III, Laura Waltz, Andy Repeta, Kimberly Beyer, and David Bauer.

Lois is preceded by her parents; her siblings, Dolores T. Dzurek, William Fayman and Margaret Pitonak.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, July 9th at 10:30 AM at the Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Road, (4 blocks south of Palatine Road) Arlington Heights. Visitation will be Friday from 3:00 PM until 9:00 PM at the Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd. Interment will be at Memory Gardens Cemetery.
