Mark Thomas Valerugo was born on January 24,1959 in Chicago to Eugene and Rosemary (nee Frick) Valerugo. He died Monday, June 17, 2013 in Evanston.

Mark took pride in his work as a sales manager for Vent Products from 1983-2012. He was enthusiastic about football (Da Bears), boating, golf, and nurturing the many friendships he cultivated over the years.

Mark is survived by his spouse of 29 years, Vicky (nee Grawe) Valerugo; his daughters, Kelly Valerugo and Lisa Valerugo; his brother, Don (Cathleen) Valerugo; and sister-in-law, Virginia Valerugo.

He was preceded in death by his brothers, Steve Valerugo and Gene Valerugo; and his parents.

Visitation from 3:00 pm until 9:00 pm, Friday, June 21, 2013 at Glueckert Funeral Home Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Rd, Arlington Heights. Committal Service 10:00 am, Saturday, June 22, 2013 at All Saints Cemetery, 700 N. River Rd., Des Plaines, IL where the burial will also occur.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the American Brain Tumor Assn. 2720 S. River Rd., Des Plaines, IL 60018.
