Edmund L. Carson

Edmund L. Carson was born on July 23, 1923 in Chicago to Robert and Elizabeth (nee McCrum) Carson. He passed away on Monday, June 3, 2013 in Arlington Heights.

Ed was a veteran of WWII having served in the Army.

Ed is survived by his children, Pam (Joe) Whittington and Lawrence (Christine) Trombini; his grandchildren, Ashley (Justin) Barnish and Matthew (Jacqueline) Whittington; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

He was preceded in death by wife, Gloria M. Carson; his parents; his brother, Robert (the late Alyce) Carson; and his sister, Gladys (Frank) Sagmeister.

Visitation from 3:00 pm until 8:00 pm, Thursday, June 6, 2013 at Glueckert Funeral Home Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Road, Arlington Heights where services will be held at 10:30 am Friday, June 7, 2013. Interment Memory Gardens Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be given to Clearbrook Center, 1835 W. Central Rd., Arlington Heights, IL 60005 or to the Midwest Palliative & Hospice CareCenter, 2050 Claire Court, Glenview, IL 60025.
