Robert J. Klos

Robert J. Klos was born April 7, 1927 in Chicago to Adam and Helen Kloskowski. He died February 2, 2012 at his home in Arizona.

After graduating from Lane Technical High School in January of 1945, he joined the U.S. Marine Corps and served his country during World War II and the Korean War. He worked at Santa Fe Railroad for 38 years, retiring in Arizona in 1987.

Bob is survived by his wife of 59 years, Shirley; his children Susan (Thomas) Diederich of Arlington Heights and Dale (Bonnie) Klos of West Salem, WI; grandchildren Eric and Robert Diederich; Emily Molly and Adam Klos; siblings Alan (Carol) Kloskowski and Nancy Kloskowski; brother-in-law Charles (Marilyn) Mason and by many nieces and nephews.

Visitation Friday, June 22, 2012 from 4 until 8 PM at the Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Road, (4 blocks south of Palatine Road) Arlington Heights. Funeral and Interment services are private.
