James Donald Christensen

James Donald Christensen was born July 29, 1923 in Chicago to James and Margaret (Johnson) Christensen. He died June 10, 2012 in his home.

Jim enjoyed fishing, boating and appreciated old cars.

Jim is survived by his wife Ann (nee Willerscheidt) Christensen; his children Bert (Karen) Christensen, Mary (Terry) Zmich, Debra Christensen and Dale (Nora) Christensen; his grandchildren Tom (Sherry) David (Michele), Jennifer (Ben), Michelle, Brian (Coco) Frank, Julie, Lindsay, Justin, Amber, Haley, Jaden and 12 great grandchildren and by his sister Carol (late Lester) McCloud.

Jim is preceded in death by his sister Lois (late Otto) Clausen and by his parents.

Visitation Wednesday, June 13, 2012 from 3 until 9 PM at the Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Road, (4 blocks south of Palatine Road) Arlington Heights. Funeral service 10 AM, Thursday, June 14, 2012 at Memory Gardens Cemetery, 2501 E. Euclid Ave., Arlington Heights, IL.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to The Cancer Institute at Alexian Brothers, in care of Spirit Van, 800 Biesterfield Road, Elk Grove Village, IL 60007.
