Michael Peter Hermes
Of Arlington Heights

Michael Peter Hermes was born July 28, 1951 in Chicago to Michael Joseph and Olga ( nee Krajchovich) Hermes. He died June 6, 2012 at Northwest Community Hospital in Arlington Heights.

Mike was a sales representative for Terrace Supply Company in Wheeling and a Roulette and Baccarat dealer at Rivers Casino, Des Plaines. He was a long time member of the Knights of Columbus (Holy Rosary Council # 4483), a fourth degree and Past Grand Knight.

Mike is survived by his wife Sharon (nee Deptula) Hermes; his children Lauren Ann (Paul) Berke and Michael Edward (Jen) Hermes; his grandchildren Joseph Paul and Katherine Mae Berke; his sister Martha (Larry) Helmandollar; his nieces April, Caitlin and Laurel, and his nephew Kim Robert.

He is preceded in death by his parents.

Visitation from 3 until 9 PM, Friday, June 8, 2012 at the Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Rd., (4 blocks south of Palatine Rd.) Arlington Heights. Prayers 10:45 AM, Saturday, at the Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd., to St. Alphonsus Church, 411 N. Wheeling Road, Prospect Heights for Mass at 11:30 AM. Burial at St. Adalbert Cemetery.
