Rocco “Rocky” Gilio was born January 22, 1917 in Chicago to He passed away on Thursday May 31, 2012 at Sunrise Senior Living in Arlington Heights.

Rocky is survived by his children, Mary Ann (Mike) Stokes, Judy (the late Bob) Falk, and Rocky (Josephine) Gilio; his grandchildren, Lisa (Darrin) Kopala, Adam (Tammy) Stokes, Kimberly (Ray) Dunn, Kelly, and Kristen; and his great-grandchildren, Nicholas, Gavin, Kyla, Jacqueline, Sarah, Sophia, and Michael.

Rocky is preceded in death by his wife Josephine (nee Messina) Gilio and by his parents.

Visitation from 3:00 PM until 8:00 PM, Sunday, June 2, 2012 at the Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Rd., (4 blocks south of Palatine Rd.) Arlington Heights. Funeral Mass will begin Monday,June 3, 2012 at 9:30 AM at St. Francis Borgia Church, 8025 W. Addison, Chicago. Entombment is at Elmwood Cemetery in River Grove.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
