Murad Agenlian
Of Arlington Heights
Murad Agenlian was born December 9, 1927 in Chicago to Johan and Isabet
(nee Demirjian) Agenlian. He died on Tuesday, June 21, 2011 in Arlington
Heights.
He is survived by his beloved wife and cherished friend of 53 years,
Rose (nee Bova) Agenlian whom he married October 26, 1957 in Chicago;
his loving children, Leticia (Chris) DeMaio, Michele Agenlian, Angela
(Michael) Agenlian-Neuert, and Natalie (Joseph) Stellato; his dearest
grandchildren, Alexandria and Madeline DeMaio, Zola and Kahlil Muthamia,
and Joey and Gabriella Stellato; his cherished sister-in-law and
brother-in-law, Amelia Bova, and Louis Bova; and his many wonderful
nieces and nephews.
Murad was preceded in death by his dear siblings, John (the late Helen)
Agenlian, Virginia Agenlian, Steve (the late Helen) Agenlian, and Martin
Agenlian; his devoted parents; and his sisters-in-law, Rosemary Bova,
and Iola Bova.
He was a dear friend to all the members of the Arlington Heights Senior
Center and to his colleagues with whom he taught at Chicago Public
Schools/ Hibbard School for 34 years. In addition to being a great
teacher, he was also a lawyer, an arbitration judge, an Army Air Force
Veteran, and an avid pool shark and card player. He was the greatest
husband and father you could ever have.
Visitation from 3:00 PM until 9:00 PM, Friday, June 24, 2011 at the
Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Road, (4 blocks
south of Palatine Road) Arlington Heights. Funeral Services will be held
10:30 AM, Saturday, June 25, 2011 at the Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd.
Interment is at Memory Gardens Cemetery.
