George J. Mohr
Of Arlington Heights
George J. Mohr was born March 2, 1926 in Norwood Park to Henry and Emma
(nee Weisgerber) Mohr. He died on Tuesday, June 21, 2011 at Northwest
Community Hospital in Arlington Heights.
He is survived by his wife, Pearl (nee Brockmann) Mohr; his children,
Ken (Lynne) Mohr, and Linda Mohr; his grandchildren, Dave Meyer, Joe
Shapiro, Jennifer (Bryce) Pankratz, and Daniel (Christine) Mohr; his
great-grandchildren, Alexis and Ryan Mohr; and his sister, Mildred
(Edward) Kempke.
George is preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Albert Mohr.
Visitation from 3:00 PM until 8:00 PM, Thursday, June 23, 2011 at the
Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Road, (4 blocks
south of Palatine Road) Arlington Heights. Funeral service 10:00 AM,
Friday, June 24, 2011 at the Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd. Interment is
at Memory Gardens Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to St. Peter
Lutheran Church, 111 W. Olive, Arlington Heights, IL 60004 or the
charity of your choice.
