Charles H. Lucas, 85, of Arlington Heights, beloved son of the late Charles H. and the late Viola (nee Hansen); loving husband of 42 years to the late Dolores (nee Peters); loved father of Carol (James) May of Elgin, Dennis R. Lucas of McHenry and Chuck (Mia) Lucas of Penngrove, CA; loved grandfather of nine and great grandfather of 12; beloved friend of Beverly Miller of Arlington Heights; cherished brother of Wanda (the late James) Casper of Homer Glen and Carole (Paul) Newer of Carney, MI, bother-in-law of Faylene and Donald McDowell of Plainfield and the late Harriet and the late Walter Elendt; and dear uncle of many nieces and nephews.

Charles is a veteran of the US Navy having served 2 ½ years during WWII.

He worked for Walgreen Pharmaceutical Company for 31 years and retired in 1978 as General Merchandise Manager of Purchasing.

Visitation Friday from 11 AM until the time of services at 1:00 PM at the Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Road, (4 blocks south of Palatine Road) Arlington Heights.
