William B. Davis
Of Arlington Heights
William “Bill” B. Davis was born May 15, 1929 in St. Louis, Mo. Victor
and Modell (nee Harwell) Hendryx. Died June 18, 2011 at Northwest
Community Hospital.
Bill served in the Army during the Korean conflict. A member of Clarence
B. Schwartz Masonic Lodge and the Medinah Shrine. He worked in the
banking industry for over 50 years.
Survivors Include his wife of 54 years Dian E. (neeTadych) Davis; proud
father of Wendy (Mitch) Ziolo, Patrice (Joe) Pecoraro, Gail (Jerry) Mraz;
grandchildren William, Randall, Joseph, Victoria; brothers late Earl
Simmons and late Robert (Joyce) Davis; brother in law Kenneth Tadych and
the late Bernice Skorczewski; and many nieces, nephews.
Visitation Tuesday, June 21, 2011 from 3 until 9 PM at the Glueckert
Funeral Home, Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Road, (4 blocks south of
Palatine Road) Arlington Heights. Funeral service will be 10 AM,
Wednesday, June 22, 2011 at Our Saviour’s Lutheran Church, 1234 N.
Arlington Heights Rd., lie in state at church from 9 AM until time of
service. Entombment will be in Memory Gardens Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to Shriners
Hospital, 2211 N. Oak Park Ave., Chicago, IL 60635.
