Jeanene E. Tarbox
Of Arlington Heights
Jeanene E. Tarbox, 79, was born on October 13, 1929 in Joliet, IL, to
Andrew and Cleo (Nee Piatt) Tarbox. She died on Monday, June 29, 2009 at
the Lutheran Home and
Services in Arlington Heights.
Before her retirement in 1987, Ms. Tarbox worked at the First National
Bank in Chicago where she was the administrative assistant to the Board
of Directors. She graduated from Monmouth College and was a member of
the Kappa Delta Sorority. Jeanene was a Die-Hard Cubs Fan.
She is survived by her nephew, James (Karen) Tarbox, of Toronto,
Ontario, Can., her niece Catherine Tarbox, of Atlanta, Georgia; her dear
friend Patricia Kelly and Clancy her beloved dog.
Jeanene is preceded in death by her parents and her brother Robert
(Mary) Tarbox.
Visitation from 3:00 until 9:00 PM, Wednesday, July 1, 2009 at the
Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Rd., (4 blocks
south of Palatine Rd.) Arlington Heights. Prayers 9:15 AM, Thursday,
July 2, 2009 at the Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd., to St. James Church,
831 N. Arlington Heights Rd., Arlington Heights for Mass at 10:00 AM.
Burial at All Saints Cemetery, Des Plaines, IL.
In lieu of flowers, Masses or memorial contributions may be given to
Sisters of the Living Word, 800 N. Fernandez, Arlington Heights, IL .
