Leslie Wagner Washburn
Of Elk Grove
Leslie Wagner Washburn was born in Chicago on December 2, 1954, to
Patricia (nee McCarl) and Thomas Lanier Higginbotham, she died on June
24, 2009 at Northwest Community Hospital in Arlington Heights.
She was employed by Prudential Starck Realty of Mt. Prospect for 25
years, where she received numerous awards. She was a member of various
organizations over the years, including being President of the PTA for
the Robert Frost Elementary School. She was a wonderful woman who lived
every moment and touched many.
Leslie is survived by her husband Thomas Washburn; her children, Donovan
(Denise), Joshua and Dustin Wagner; her mother, Patricia; her
stepchildren, Katherine (David) Lawrence and Lindsay, Thomas (Dee), John
(Colleen) and James (Patty) Washburn; her grandchild, McKenna Wagner and
10 step-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her father.
Visitation, Monday, June 29, 2009, from 3:00PM until 9:00PM and Tuesday,
June 30, 2009 from 9:00 AM until the time of service at 10:00 AM at the
Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Road, (4 blocks
south of Palatine Road) Arlington Heights. Interment Memory Gardens.
