Of Wheaton
Evelyn M. Muench, formerly of Chicago, was born October 9, 1916, in Chicago. She died Wednesday, June 3, 2009 at the DuPage County Convalescent Center in Wheaton, IL.
Evelyn had been a homemaker and health care worker. She lived at the DuPage County Convalescent Center since 1998 where she had been a Lector at Mass and volunteered in the gift shop.
Evelyn was the loving mother of John L. (Mary) Muench of Arlington Heights; proud grandmother of Mary Beth (Terence) Holum of Mundelein and John E. (Lisa) Muench of Mundelein; dear great-grandmother to Kevin and Sean Holum and Samantha, Amanda and Julia Muench; dear sister to Lawrence Milewski of San Jose, California; and fond aunt to 11 nieces & nephews and many grand nieces & nephews.
She now joins John J., her husband of 26 years; her parents Lawrence J. and Mary M. (nee Polasik) Milewski, her brothers Robert (Anna) Milewski, Edward Milewski, Robert (Marie) Sears and Raymond (Charlotte) Sears, and her sister Florence (Axel) Hansen in eternal life.
Visitation from 3:00 until 9:00 PM, Friday, June 5, 2009 at the Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Rd., (4 blocks south of Palatine Rd.) Arlington Heights. Prayers 8:45 AM, Saturday, June 6, 2009 at the Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd., to Our Lady of the Wayside Church, 440 S. Mitchell, Arlington Heights for Mass at 9:30 AM. Interment at Resurrection Cemetery, Justice, IL.
