Lottie E. Allen
Of Palatine

Lottie E. (nee Kmieciak) Allen was born June 16, 1926 in Cudahy, WI to Bernard and Frances (nee Gorski) Kmieciak. She died June 28, 2008 at Northwest Community Hospital in Arlington Heights.

Mrs. Allen was a ferocious reader and student of God’s word, striving daily to live out those precepts with great intentionality. Her countenance exuded joy. She was a testament of Christ’s love, grace and mercy to all who knew her. She was an active member at Willow Creek Community Church in South Barrington; serving in the Promiseland ministry for 27 years. She was also very active in Precepts at the Arlington Heights Evangelical Free Church.

Mrs. Allen is survived by children Mary (Michael) Thomas of Orlando, FL, Joan Dannahower of Beaver Falls, PA and Jill Allen of Inverness; her grandchildren Megan, Matthew, Jim and Kimberly; her siblings Jim (Jean) and Robert Kmieciak and by many nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her husband Talmadge “T.K.” Allen, whom she married January 15, 1949; her siblings Marian Lau, Clifford Kmieciak, Alice (Ed) Mason, Edward (Justine) and Irene Kmieciak and by her parents.

A memorial service will be held 11 AM, Thursday, July 3, 2008 at Willow Creek Community Church, 67 E. Algonquin Road, South Barrington, IL 60010. Interment Private.
