Prem Vir Chawla

Prem Vir Chawla was born on August 1, 1948 in India to Chhamba Ram Chawla and Pritam Devi (nee Kheterpal) Chawla. He passed away on June 5, 2008 in Skokie.

Mr. Chawla established the Hope Now Award for Lung Cancer Research.

He is survived by his daughter, Nisha Chawla, his brothers, Lt. Col. Prem Prakash Chawla and Dr. Prem Pal Chawla.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Memorial visitation Wednesday, June 11, 2008 from 6:00 PM until the time of memorial service at 7:00 PM at the Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Road, (4 blocks south of Palatine Road) Arlington Heights. Interment private.
