Rita M. Giles was born in Chicago on February 10, 1926 to Frank and Mary Sesko. She passed away on June 25, 2007 in Arlington Heights.

She is survived by her husband, Wendell L. Giles whom she married on September 25, 1944, her children, Trish Mahler of Arlington Heights, Sue (Dick) Cianciarulo of Island Lake, Sheila (Jeremiah) Schroeder Enright of Barrington, David (Kathy) Giles of Westchester, PA, Denise (Bill) Morris of Cary, and Tim Giles of Island Lake, her grandchildren, Jennifer and Mike Mahler, Kelly (Barry) Leahy, Stephanie Schroeder, Tony (Michelle), Todd (Jennifer) and Tina Cianciarulo, Tim and Megan Giles and Ashley, Cassie and Billy Morris, and her great grandchildren, Carly, Kate and Dillon Leahy, Isabelle Cianciarulo and Ryan Brown.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Frank Sesko.

Visitation from4:00 PM until 8:00 PM Wednesday, June 27, 2007 at the Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Rd., (4 blocks south of Palatine Rd.) Arlington Heights. Prayers 9:15 AM Thursday, June 28, 2007 at the Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd. to St. James Church, 831 N. Arlington Heights Rd., Arlington Heights for Mass at 10:00 AM. Entombment Memory Gardens.
