Richard R. Sass

Richard R. Sass, formerly of Lindenhurst, was born April 9, 1937 in Detroit, Mich. to Raymond Leo and Ruth Angeline (nee Sauginas) Sass. He died Wednesday, June 13, 2007 at his home.

Before retiring in 2003, Mr. Sass was executive vice president for BP/National Wax in Skokie. He served in the Navy Reserves

Richard’s survivors include his daughters Colleen (Davis) Whittier of Crystal Lake, Laura (Kevin) Behling of Green Oaks and Wendy (Kevin) McGowan of Manchester, Missouri; his grandchildren Brandon, Anthony, Casey, Meghan, Michael, Ryan, and Rachel.

Richard is preceded in death by his parents; his sister Florence Williams and his brother William Sass.

Visitation from 3:00 until 9:00 PM, Monday, June 18, 2007 at the Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Road, (4 blocks south of Palatine Road) Arlington Heights. Funeral service 10:00 AM, Tuesday, June 19, 2007, graveside at Crystal Lake Memorial ParkCemetery, 8012 Ridgefield Rd., Crystal Lake.
