John Thomson Rahn
Formerly of Johnsburg

John Thomson Rahn was born February 20, 1955 in St. Charles, Missouri to Henry and Patricia (nee Thomson) Rahn. He died Friday, June 8, 2007 at Aurora Lakeland Medical Center in Elkhorn, Wisconsin.

Mr. Rahn was a former salesman for Joseph D. Foreman & Company in Barrington. He enjoyed outdoor activities including camping, gardening and yard work.

John’s survivors include his wife of 28 years, Mary nee Irwin, whom he married April 21, 1979; his children Amanda Rahn of Lake Geneva, John Jr. of Sioux Falls, South Dakota, Jeffrey Rahn and Megan Rahn, both of Lake Geneva; his mother; and his brother Tom Rahn.

John is preceded in death by his father and his brother Jim.

Funeral service was held Tuesday, June 12, 2007 at the Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd. Interment at Memory Gardens Cemetery, Arlington Heights.
