Dorothy J. Marti

Dorothy J. Marti was born November 4, 1917 in Lake Forest to Leo and Irma (nee Flosi) Menghinelli. She died June 26, 2006 at Rosewood Care Center in Inverness.
Mrs. Marti was raised in Wilmette where she graduated from Mallinckrodt Catholic Girls School in 1936. She relocated to Arlington Heights in 1962. Dorothy was a bank teller at the Bank & Trust Co in Arlington Heights for 15 years before retiring in 1977.
She is survived by her daughter, Sandra Westergaard of Arlington Heights and her grandson, Mark Westergaard.
Dorothy is preceded by her husband Peter Marti and her son in law Alan Westergaard.
Visitation from 9:00 AM until 10:15 AM, Saturday, July 1, 2006 at the Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Rd., (four blocks south of Palatine Rd.) Arlington Heights. Prayers 10:15 AM, Saturday, at the Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd., to Our Lady of the Wayside Church, 440 S. Mitchell, Arlington Heights for Mass at 11:00 AM. Entombment at All Saints Mausoleum.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to the Sisters of Christian Charity at Mallinckrodt Catholic Girls School, 2041 Elmwood Ave., Wilmette, IL 60091.
