Robert W. Harlev was born November 12, 1936 in Chicago to John and Anona (nee Bierman) Harlev. He died Thursday, June 15, 2006 at Governor's Park in Barrington.
Mr. Harlev was a retired credit manager. During his retirement, he worked part-time for Davidsmeyer Bus Services. He served in the Illinois National Guard.
Robert is survived by his children, Ken (Monika) Harlev of Elk Grove Village, Ron (Karen) Harlev of Woodstock, and Ali (Jennifer) Uzumcu of Vernon Hills; his grandchildren, Paul Harlev and Alex and Alyssa Uzumcu; his brother John Harlev; and his long time friends, Ilgonis Zvegnieks and Bob Lueders.
He is preceded in death by his wife Beverly; and his sister-in-law, Muriel Harlev.
Visitation from 11:00 AM until time of service at 2:00 Saturday, June 17, 2006 at the Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Road, (four blocks south of Palatine Road) Arlington Heights. Interment at Arlington Heights Wheeling Township Cemetery.
