Susan M. DeMito, formerly of Arlington Heights and Norridge, was born November 10, 1912 in Chicago to Dominick and Philomene (nee Greco) DiPaolo. She died Sunday, June 4, 2006 at Arlington Rehabilitation Center in Long Grove.
Mrs. DeMito was a homemaker.
Her survivors include her son Joseph (Antoinette) DeMito of Villa Park, her daughter Lucille (Thomas) Semerau of Arlington Heights; her 12 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren, 1 great great grandchild; her sisters Rose Mancini and Mary DiPaolo, her brother Peter (Ann) DiPaolo
Susan is preceded in death by her husband Dominick and her brother-in-law Oliver Mancini.
Visitation from 3:00 until 9:00 PM, Tuesday, June 6, 2006 at the Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Rd., (4 blocks south of Palatine Rd.) Arlington Heights and Wednesday, June 7, 2006 at St. Edna Catholic Church 2525 N. Arlington Heights Road, Arlington Heights from 9:00 AM until time of Funeral Mass at 10:00 AM. Entombment at Queen of Heaven Mausoleum, Hillside, Illinois.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to American Parkinson Disease Assoc. Glenbrook Medical Office Bldg. South, 2050 Pfingsten Rd. Suite 127, Glenview, IL 60025.
