Marian G. Brna
Of Arlington Heights

Marian G. Brna was born August 7, 1916 in Cleveland, Ohio to Carl and Margaret Gase, and raised by her father and stepmother, Edith Gase. She passed away Monday, June 27, 2005 at Alexian Brothers Medical Center in Elk Grove Village.

After Marian's husband, Paul passed away in 1987, she continued on his company, Paul Brna and Associates for more than 10 years. She also held various offices with Questers (Daisey Chapter), LWML, Arlington Heights Women's Club and an active member of Faith Lutheran Church and Women of Faith. She was an avid bridge player and a lover of opera, the symphony and gardening.

Marian is survived by her daughters Karen (John) Klinka of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma and Joan (David) Woodyatt of Northfield; grandchildren John Paul, Jason (April) and Julia Klinka and Jennifer (Nicholas) Nelson; great grandchildren Madalynn and Sophia; sister Elinor (the late Lloyd) Hamang and very close friend and companion Bob Annett, as well as many nieces, nephews and dear friends.

Marian was preceded in death by her sister Loreen Fruechtenicht.

Funeral services will be held 10:00 AM, Saturday, at Faith Lutheran Church, 431 S. Arlington Heights Rd. Marian will lie in state at church from 9:30 AM until time of service. Burial will be in Memory Gardens Cemetery.
